Matthew Lorrimer is internationally recognised for his leadership in strategic and functional planning, project directorship, design management and project delivery of learning environments, sports stadia, arts facilities, commercial interiors and retail for Government and institutional non-Government clients.
Matthew comes from an architectural and entertainment design and management background. This equips him for the challenges of project team-building and management, strategic planning and multi-stakeholder engagement for Government agencies, institutional and private sector clients.
Most recently, Matthew has been a project manager at the Sydney Opera House for the front-of-house projects in the Renewal Program, as well as leading design and stakeholder interaction for a number of Department of Education school redevelopments in Sydney. He has over 25 years of architectural and multi-sport events experience gained in the Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Commonwealth, Asian and Arab Games. Matthew has undertaken numerous projects in China, Greece, India, Indonesia, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates including consortium manager for the Istanbul Bid for the 2020 Olympic Games.
Matthew brings a wealth of management expertise to the CPS executive team.
