Hume Apartments, Crows Nest


CPS have been appointed as Project Manager and is acting as Client Representative and Superintendent for a 35 unit mixed retail and residential project in Crows Nest. This complex project involves the construction of 3 basement levels and 8-storeys in a space-constrained inner city site.

Specific tasks include: 

•    Cost planning reviews and budget establishment
•    Overall communications management of authorities, and all stakeholders
•    Review and ongoing management of statutory approvals
•    Manage the detail design process
•    Manage the preparation of D & C documentation to 70%

•    Preparation of RFT package and competitively tender works
•    Contract review and award works to a Principal Contractor
•    Superintend the Works
•    Monitoring of project construction program, budget and scope changes
•    Certification of contractor & consultants’ monthly progress claims
•    Defect management
