Albury Multi Agency Depot
CPS completed the project management and delivery of a new Multi Agency Depot in Albury, NSW. The project was developed to enable various government agencies to consolidate depot functions into a single site thereby improving service delivery, promoting synergies between agencies and reducing depot duplication.
Subsequent to CPS’ initial engagement to administer the tender evaluation, award and construction phases, CPS’s role was extended to not only procure fixed furniture and equipment on behalf of the miscellaneous agencies but also to manage the design and installation of utility services to the site being electrical, telecommunications, sewer and water.
Through practical insight and technical expertise CPS were able to mitigate potential delays to the construction programme that the project faced due to the specific requirements of each agency that continuously evolved throughout the project lifecycle.
CPS’ collaborative and proactive relationship with both GHD and Zauner resulted in a project that was completed defect free, within budget and on time, and with no safety incidents or environmental impact infringements occurring on site.
The successful completion of the Albury Multi Agency Depot signifies the first of a number of similar purpose built initiatives that Property NSW will deliver across the state.
