Knauf Insulation, the world’s No.2 insulation manufacturer, recently received approval from the Department of Planning in New South Wales for the development of the Knauf Insulation Glass Wool Manufacturing Plant in Newcastle. CPS was appointed project managers for the development of the project, including the project brief, engagement of design consultants, specialist process engineering consultants, and remediation consultants. Knauf Insulation is an international company establishing a presence within Australia at a time when the market demand in the industry is quite fluid. Developing industry best practice with an existing company manufacturing process required a dedicated management team and structure.
