CPS were appointed design manager and project manager and were engaged to provide programme and project management services of new residential dwellings for the aged, disadvantaged and needy in the Southern shire region in Sydney as part of the Federal Governments Housing stimulus package.

Scope of works included the design and construction of 550 new residential dwellings over approximately 50 sites and the refurbishment of existing properties to comply with DDA, BCA and Aging and disability regulations.

The project required a dedicated and well structured team to be able to construct and handover in excess of 550 dwelling in under 19 months from engagement.

CPS was able to partner with a specialist development company to establish & design the development details of each of the sites and provide project briefs and design documentation, to distribute as a design and tender package to the market in record time.

By using a web based project management system, CPS was able to complete the projects on time and ahead of the industry. As a result of taking the lead in the delivery of completed projects, CPS along with Housing NSW helped the instrumental process and procedures which were then accepted by the project managers engaged as part of the housing stimulus package.
