CPS was engaged to provide project management services and contract superintendence for the base building works on behalf of the building owner, GIC.
CPS was appointed to manage base building works to gain an additional 2.3 stars in the NABERS rating which predominantly involved the upgrading of the air conditioning system (new chillers, pumps and cooling towers) and refurbishment of 12 floors in the tower.
CPS was able to manage multiple work fronts concurrently to achieve the project deadlines and operate two air conditioning systems simultaneously in a live environment as well as the refurbishment of the floors in a fast-tracked method which allowed early tenant access whilst keeping the project cost under budget. This was achieved by understanding the client’s key drivers and requirements and managing the process in an occupied building.
