Beginning in October 2009, CPS were engaged for the critical base building services upgrade, including standby generator replacement, EWIS, AHU and BMCS upgrades of AMP Sydney Cove. The project involved the replacement of the two original Blackstone generators with 3x1440kVA Cummins generators to ensure the availability of standby power and to increase building coverage to meet the Tenant’s requirements.

Access to the subbasement and sequencing of works to minimise building interruption were significant challenges in both the design and construction of this project which was completed successfully in October 2011.
